"China's Macroeconomy - Adjustment and Risks of Economic Slowdown" Lecture
Lecture delivered by Chinese economist Dr. Yuan Gangming on

As part of the China 100 celebration, the University of Minnesota China Center and Tsinghua Alumni Association-Minnesota Chapter presented the lecture by Chinese economist Dr. Yuan Gangming. Dr. Yuan is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Social Science Institute of Economics, Tsinghua University China, and the World Economy Research Center. He is also an academic recipient of a special stipend from the China State Council. The lecture focused on the following four topics: 1) growth slowdown: adjustment or recession; 2) policy initiatives of new leadership; 3) stimulus package and market reform; 4) feasibility of China's economic growth with increasing risks. Refreshments and Chinese mooncakes will be provided. The lecture was delivered in Mandarin Chinese.
